WInter is Coming!
The Washington Balalaika Society's 55-piece orchestra will present music from a variety of time periods, genres, and composers, such as Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk's hauntingly beautiful"Melody in A Minor," Ivanovici's "Waves of the Danube," selections from the ever-popular musical, Fiddler on the Roof, a special arrangement of Nino Rota's "Speak Softly, Love" (the theme from The Godfather), and selections from Tchaikovsky's beloved The Nutcracker Suite.
