With every stuffed lion’s roar or elephant’s trumpet\, your child’s imagination will soar! \nAfter the musical fiesta\, it’s time for a yummy snack\, followed by playtime where kids can explore and make-believe. Meanwhile\, moms\, dads\, grandparents\, and caregivers can relish a homemade brunch prepared with love – a perfect chance to mingle and share stories. \nOur box of wonders is always brimming with surprises! One day it’s a car zooming around\, another day it’s a train chugging along. Flip it over and voilà\, it’s a drum or even a rumbling thunder to match the beat of our songs. From ‘The Wheels on the Bus’ to sparkling new Bible-based rhymes\, we have tunes that will make your little one’s heart dance with every beat! \nLast week\, our pint-sized percussionists marched on bubble wrap to the rhythm of a march\, popping and hopping with glee. DESCRIPTION:“Crafted in fellowship\, prayed over in faith\, given in love.” \nWe’re delighted to revive our Caring Hands Ministry as an in-person gathering once again! We meet at 10:00 AM on the second Saturday of each month in the Pender UMC Library. \nThis is a relaxed\, welcoming time to knit\, crochet\, talk\, and share as we work together. Our handmade items—prayer shawls\, baby blankets\, lap blankets\, scarves\, hats\, slippers and care bags—are lovingly prayed over and then distributed to those in need\, offering comfort\, warmth\, and a tangible reminder of God’s care. \nWhether you’re an experienced crafter\, just learning\, or simply want to stop by for conversation and fellowship\, you are welcome. You don’t need to be actively working on a project to join us—come sit\, chat\, and enjoy the community. \nTogether\, we create more than stitches—we create connections\, prayers\, and gifts of love. \n🧵 All are welcome. Come as you are.

It’s a simple yet powerful way to share kindness and nourishment in our neighborhood. \n📍 Location:\nYou’ll find the pantry at 12301 Alder Woods Drive\, Fairfax\, VA 22033—coming from Route 50\, it’s the second driveway on the left into Pender\, right beside the sidewalk. \n🥫 What’s Inside:\nAs of this writing\, the pantry is filled with a wide variety of items\, including: \n\nCanned tuna\, chicken\, chili\, and soup\nBroth\, vegetables\, pumpkin\, and apple sauce\nShelf-stable milk\, peach slices\, mandarin oranges\, and individual fruit packs\nJello\, pudding cups\, mac and cheese servings\, and mashed potatoes\nCoffee\, oatmeal\, ketchup\, gravy packets\, and cooking oil\n\nIt’s truly a community effort—and every contribution helps keep it going. \n💜 How to Help:\nAnyone is welcome to take what they need or to donate food items to keep the pantry stocked.
