And for the first time\, we are pleased to present medley of Ukrainian folk songs on the bandura\, the national instrument of Ukraine. \nClassical favorites like “Danse Macabre\,” “Hungarian Rhapsody\,” and “Swan Lake” are on the program along with a klezmer tune on clarinet\, a medley of ’60’s pop favorites including “Love Is Blue\,” and a potpourri of American music. SUMMARY:Slavic Festival Concert
DESCRIPTION:A night of Eastern European folk music played on traditional instruments! Balalaika\, domra\, accordion\, bayan\, and more! \nThe Balalaika and Domra Association of America (BDAA) presents our annual Slavic Festival Concert\, which brings together musicians from around the world to perform Slavic folk music\, including Eastern European\, Romani\, and Klezmer musical traditions.
