The Washington Balalaika Society explores the mystery of romance with special guest artist Isaiah Trofimenko, Baritone, and our own balalaika virtuoso, Andrei Saveliev.
The diverse and entertaining program includes art songs by Tchaikovsky, Glinka and Rachmaninoff; folk treasures like Stenka Razin and a Ukrainian Hopak; and classical favorites from Albinoni’s Adagio to Dvorak’s Slavonic Dance No. 8.
