Join the library staff as we celebrate Spring!

11:00am – 1:00pm| Spring Festival

Enjoy fun Spring crafts, activity stations, and games at the library. Featuring a digital drawing demo from Digikidz Academy and a math activity station from Mathnasium of Centreville.

Families. No registration required. 

2:00-2:30pm| Performance from Maple Academy of Irish Dance.

Experience the enchanting rhythm and magic of Ireland with a captivating Irish dance performance at the library that will have your heart racing and your toes tapping! The Maple Academy of Irish Dance has dazzled audiences on national and international stages, with performances at the Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian, National Geographic, and even twice at the White House.

All ages. No registration required.

11:00-4:00pm| Art Exhibit

Experience the dazzling art of local watercolor artist Elin Young Kim, who will have her pieces displayed at the library as part of our spring open house. The exhibition will also include pieces from Elin’s students. Elin has worked in the visual graphic design field for more than 35 years–she started with soft pastels and then fell in love with the vibrancy of watercolor and has been painting with them ever since. To Elin, “watercolor is the medium that continues to show me endless excitement, amusement, and amazement.”

Last year, we had a bunny invasion. This year, ducks have taken over the library! Can you find one? Show your duck at the information desk to get a small prize.
