Experience a captivating performance by members of the United States Navy Band Woodwind Quintet.
Formed in 1985, the quintet is one of eight chamber music ensembles that frequently perform at the White House and many other functions for dignitaries. Their varied repertoire includes music from the 18th to the 21st century.
The Woodwind Quintet: Combines the unique sounds of flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, and bassoon to create a chamber group that is well-suited for a variety of occasions. The quintet’s extensive repertoire is perfectly suited for public concerts, ceremonies, dinners, and educational master classes. They perform a variety of works, such as Mozart, Rossini and Joplin to modern works by a variety of American composers.
