Knitting for Charity

November 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Have fun and do good by taking part in our knitting drop-in session dedicated to producing hats for FCPL’s Knitting for Charity drive.

An experienced knitter will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

At this point, we have plenty of yarn; a limited number of knitting needles will also be available to use.

And if you crochet, but don’t knit, don’t be left out – you are welcome to join us make hats for a good cause.

Keep coming back until we get the job done!

This drive will run through November 14. Knitted hats will be donated to various community nonprofit organizations including Shelter HouseFACETSNew Hope Housing and Cornerstones.

Pick up a limited supply of yarn while supplies last. Pick up a bag of yarn, while supplies last, from any of the branch locations listed below:

Regional: Centreville, Chantilly, City of Fairfax, George Mason, Pohick, Reston, Tysons-Pimmit, and Sherwood.

Community: Herndon Fortnightly, Kings Park, and Kingstowne.
