The Washington Balalaika Society is a community orchestra of musicians organized to perform the music of Eastern European countries on traditional Russian folk instruments. The largest orchestra of its kind in America!
The orchestra includes voices, balalaikas and domras, as well as bayans and accordions, a traditional wind section of flutes, clarinet, oboes and percussion.
