Filene Center Backstage Tours

Ranger led programs are available year round. All tours and programs are free and open to the public.

Backstage Tours: Stand on a world-class stage, learn how a theater runs, and get a sneak peek at where the stars get ready.

Backstage tours are available from October – April. Tours are limited to 30 participants and last approximately 60-90 minutes. Please note tour day and times.

Saturday, February 28 – 2 pm
Saturday, March 7 – 10 am
Sunday, March 8 – 1 pm Shouse Lecture followed by backstage tour (~2 hours total length)

Saturday, April 25 – 2 pm

Park History Walk: From Farm to Theater: Join a ranger for a walking tour of the Park and the original buildings from its establishment. Walk starts at the Ranger Station and should last an hour. Please dress for the weather and for a walking tour outside on the grass and on uneven surfaces. Please note start times.
