When our son was little – and beyond – we’d pack up my mom and the dog and head to Great Country Farms almost every weekend to pick whatever was available
Back to School means it is time to pick apples!
We have a wide variety of apple trees, so there is something for everyone and different types of apples ripen throughout September. Whether you prefer sweet or tart apples, we have got you covered. Our friendly staff will be on hand to assist you in finding the perfect apples for your needs.

The Yes Farms, Yes Food Corn Maze is open and is our homage to saving farmland in a positive and productive way.
Pro Tip: Weekdays are the least crowded so come after school. Tuesdays are a great day to play hookey and come pick apples! Check out our September Educational Calendar for some great experiences this month included with your farm admission.
Celebrate everything apple with apple picking, our award-winning apple cider donuts, and a romp in our 15-acre play area.
On Saturdays & Sundays, we add in live music, marshmallow roasting, pig races & cider pressing demonstrations.
