Chantilly High School Haunted House

October 26 @ 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Chantilly High School Haunted House Fundraiser

The CHS Haunted House is a community event & fundraiser hosted by Chantilly High School’s Field Hockey, Girls Soccer and Girls Lacrosse teams. Event proceeds benefit these important school programs. Funds raised are used for equipment, protective gear, uniforms and more. Thank you very much for your support!

Does everyone need a ticket to enter the Haunted House event?

Yes. Everyone aged 3 and older needs a ticket.

In addition to the Haunted House tour, there will also be additional fall festival type activities, including face painting, arts & crafts, games, concessions and other activities.

REMINDER – The CHS Haunted House event is a family-oriented school event, and we expect all young children to have a responsible adult assigned to them while attending.

What age is the Haunted House geared toward?

The Haunted House is geared toward families.  Guests of any age may attend at any time of the day.  All scenes are school community appropriate.

We offer two touring options:

  • 1pm to 5pm – less scary, geared toward those who may scare easily; and
  • 6pm to 10pm – more scary (for braver goblins), geared toward those who enjoy a good fright!

The 1pm to 5pm tours are geared toward elementary school aged guests and those that prefer a “less scary” environment.  These tours will be similar to that of a “Disney ride,” or visiting a children’s museum. Actors will not reach out at, or directly call out to, visiting guests.  They will perform the scenes while those touring walk by and watch.

The 6pm to 10pm tours are geared toward middle and high school aged guests and those that prefer a “more scary” / “braver goblins” experience.  These tours will include more engagement by the Actors.  Actors will interact with visitors to engage them in a good fright and they may reach out and look directly at visiting guests.  Music and sound effects will also be scarier than the earlier shift.

Choosing a time really depends on your “scare tolerance.”  Please make your best judgement for yourself.

When making your decision, please know that there are some strobe lights, spooky music and spooky noises on the Haunted House tour.

What if someone gets too scared to go through the Haunted House?

Don’t worry, if you, or your child, gets too scared to go through the Haunted House, you will be able to exit the tour with the help of your tour guide.

You won’t miss out on the event day fun because there are lots of additional activities that you can participate in that are included in your ticket price – games, arts & crafts, face painting and more – (and a free hypnotist from 6pm-10pm).  We will also have pizza, snacks, water and baked goods for sale, too.

REMINDER – As a friendly reminder, please note that there are NO TICKET REFUNDS.

Do you offer ticket refunds?

No.  Unfortunately, we do not offer any refunds.

Is the Haunted House wheelchair accessible?

This is a decision that will be made on an individual basis. The Haunted House is dark and there are obstacles along the way. So, the answer to this question is more often no than it is yes. However, all of the activities outside of the Haunted House – games, refreshments, face painting, and crafts (and the free hypnotist from 6pm – 10pm) are accessible.
