Let the Music Dance!

The Washington Balalaika Orchestra presents an enchanting program of music performed by our own musicians on balalaika, bayan, domra, flute, oboe and clarinet. And for the first time, we are pleased to present medley of Ukrainian folk songs on the bandura, the national instrument of Ukraine.
Classical favorites like “Danse Macabre,” “Hungarian Rhapsody,” and “Swan Lake” are on the program along with a klezmer tune on clarinet, a medley of ’60’s pop favorites including “Love Is Blue,” and a potpourri of American music. You’re bound to leave humming a familiar tune or a new favorite.
